Updated 7 November 2026. Hope Technical Systems operates this pilot tank-monitoring service.
Information used
Google sign-in supplies a verified email address and account identifier. We use these to check the operator-managed device access list. The service stores sensor readings, diagnostic metadata, saved tank settings and any successful GNSS fixes. Coordinates are available only to accounts granted access to the device.
Service providers
Google handles sign-in, EMQX carries MQTT messages and receipts, and Cloudflare hosts the application and database. Loading a satellite map requests imagery from Esri and shares the viewed area and ordinary connection information with that service. Map requests begin only when you choose to load the map.
Sessions and access
The dashboard uses cookies for the sign-in handshake and a session of up to seven days. The database stores hashed session tokens. Login state expires after ten minutes; login rate limiting uses a hashed key. Authorized editors can change shared tank dimensions and calibration; viewers cannot.
Retention and requests
The pilot currently retains readings and settings until the operator removes them. Protected operational backups may also contain this information. Contact the operator who granted your access to request correction, access removal or deletion. Do not share private setup files or firmware images.
Estimates depend on calibration and installation. A map position is the last successful fix, not a live tracking guarantee.
